10년 전 "아틀란티스에 외계 문명과 연결된 차원의 문이 있다"는 가설로 학계의 조롱을 받았던 마크. 가족마저 떠나고 절망에 빠진 그는 쓰레기더미에서 고장난 여성형 안드로이드 아리아를 발견한다.
마크의 연구 파트너가 된 아리아는 놀라운 분석 능력으로 아틀란티스의 위치를 특정하고, 둘은 함께 심해 탐사에 나서게 된다.
마침내 웅장한 아틀란티스와 신비한 차원의 문을 발견한 마크.
마크는 이 광경에 감격하며 눈을 감는다. 하지만 사실 그 모든 것은, 아리아가 그를 위해 만들어낸 아름다운 환상이었음이 드러난다.
In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in the near future, an aging marine archaeologist named Mark embarks on one final expedition to fulfill his lifelong dream of discovering Atlantis.
Ten years earlier, Mark was ridiculed by the academic community for proposing a controversial theory: that Atlantis contained an interdimensional gateway connected to an extraterrestrial civilization. Branded a fantasist and abandoned even by his family, he fell into despair. One day, while scavenging through a scrapyard, he discovers Aria, a malfunctioning female android. After repairing her, Mark finds an unexpected research partner. With her extraordinary analytical abilities, Aria succeeds in identifying the most likely location of Atlantis, and together they begin a daring journey into the deep sea.
At last, Mark stands before the magnificent lost city and the mysterious gateway he has spent his life searching for. Overwhelmed with joy and vindication, he closes his eyes, taking in the moment he believed would never come.
But the truth is far more bittersweet.
The breathtaking Atlantis, the ancient ruins, and the portal itself were never real. They were a beautiful illusion created by Aria—a final gift for the man who had devoted his life to an impossible dream.

최영민 감독은 영화 촬영부로 영화계에 입문해 30여 년 동안 50여 편의 장·단편영화에 촬영감독 및 촬영팀으로 참여하며 현장 경험을 쌓아왔다. 2015년부터는 시나리오, 연출, 제작까지 활동 영역을 넓혀 자신만의 이야기를 만들기 시작했으며, 장편영화 《액션동자》와 《마임하는 남자》를 연출했다. 또한 AI 단편영화 《아틀란티스의 꿈》의 각본·연출·편집을 맡아 국내외 영화제에 초청되며 새로운 영상 제작 방식에도 도전하고 있다.
최은경 감독은 21년차 드라마 감독이자 AI 영화감독. AI 크리에이티브 프로덕션 '스튜디오 클레이(Studio Clay)' 대표. MBC 〈훈장 오순남〉, 〈용왕님 보우하사〉, 〈내 손을 잡아〉, <심야병원>, <남자를 믿었네>,<금나와라 뚝딱>, TVN 〈노란복수초〉 등 다수 작품 연출. 2025년 부산국제AI영화제 AI 단편영화〈Dream of Atlantis〉로 본상 수상, 2026년 독일 카를스루에 국제영화제(Karlsruhe International Film Festival),미국 라이프 아트 영화제(US Life ART Film Festival)에 공식 선정되었다.

Director Choi Young-min began his career in the film industry as a camera crew member and has spent over 30 years working on more than 50 feature and short films as a cinematographer and camera team member. Since 2015, he has expanded his work into screenwriting, directing, and producing, developing his own original stories and cinematic style. He directed the feature films 《Action Dongja》 and 《The Mime Man》, and also wrote, directed, and edited the AI short film 《Dream of Atlantis》, which has been invited to various domestic and international film festivals, showcasing his continued exploration of new cinematic technologies and storytelling methods.
