'적조'로 물든 수족관 안에서 사이보그 생명체들은 인공적인 빛과 통제된 경로를 따라 유영하며, 이것을 '진화'라 믿는다.

하지만 견고했던 기계적 질서에 균열이 가기 시작하고, 주인공은 금속의 허물을 벗어던진 채 심연의 본질로 회귀한다.
빛조차 닿지 않는 태초의 심해에서 마주한 진실은, 바다가 인간의 오염을 단순히 받아낸 것이 아니라 처음부터 그 모든 과정을 지켜보고 있었다는 사실이다.

이제 시선은 역전되어, 바다는 수면 너머 붉게 타오르는 인간 세상을 응시한다.

In the not-so-distant future, humanity attempts to reconstruct a polluted ocean through mechanical technology.
Within aquariums stained red by toxic algal blooms, cybernetic lifeforms drift beneath artificial lights and along carefully controlled pathways, believing this engineered existence to be the next stage of evolution.

But cracks begin to appear in the seemingly perfect mechanical order. As the system unravels, the protagonist sheds its metallic shell and descends back toward the essence of the abyss.
In the primordial depths, where no light can reach, it encounters a startling truth: the ocean did not simply endure humanity’s pollution—it had been witnessing the entire process from the very beginning.

The gaze is now reversed.
From the darkness below, the ocean turns its attention toward the human world above, watching as it burns red beyond the surface.
