순천만의 새벽, 쓰레기로 뒤덮인 갯벌 위를 짱뚱어 소녀 가비와 칠게 소년 백팔이가 질주한다. 두 친구가 우연히 발견한 것은 버려진 오르골이다.
갯벌 한가운데 놓인 녹슨 발레리나 오르골은 가비를 사로잡는다. 오르골에서 맑은 선율이 흐르는 순간, 황폐했던 갯벌은 잠시 다른 세계로 변한다. 하지만 거센 비와 함께 밀려온 쓰레기 파도 앞에서는 어찌할 도리가 없다.
망가져 멈춰버린 오르골을 보자 가비는 슬픔에 잠긴다.

이 작품은 쓰레기로 가득 찬 갯벌과 반짝이는 오르골, 작고 연약한 생명들이 만들어내는 재치와 익살스러움을 통해서 우리가 갯벌 어딘가에 두고 온 실존적 감각들을 되살려내려 한다.

At dawn in Suncheon Bay, Gabi, a young mudskipper girl, and Baek-pal, a fiddler crab boy, race across a mudflat strewn with trash. What the two friends stumble upon by chance is an abandoned music box. Resting in the middle of the tidal flat, the rusted ballerina music box immediately captivates Gabi.

The moment a clear melody begins to play, the desolate mudflat is transformed into another world. For a fleeting instant, beauty returns to a place overwhelmed by neglect. But against the waves of garbage carried in by heavy rain, there is little the friends can do. When the music box finally breaks down and falls silent, Gabi is overcome with sadness.

Through the contrast between a trash-filled tidal flat and a sparkling music box, and through the wit and charm of its small, fragile protagonists, this animated film seeks to revive a sense of wonder and existential connection that we may have left behind somewhere along the shore. A gentle and heartfelt animation that invites us to believe in small miracles and the enduring power of innocence in a world that often feels harsh and indifferent.
